i have always liked the back of things such as buildings and signs it like a side that doesn't need to be there but must be for the object to exist. this is the back of the mayflower theatre, i like the lack of windows and how they are scattered in a seemingly orderless manner.

pin hole debut

i recently purchased a pinhole lens for my olympus, thanks to a tip off from >kelvin< here are a few of the results.

taken at the end of a visit to london, on leaving waterloo the train had a fault and whilst we waited i saw this view, i enjoy the structural darkness, it feels like the inside of factory. inside with the black and cold but with the view to the light and warmth of outside.

peering into someone's workspace can be fascinating,  i took this photo in the steelworks museum on kelham island. i like the structure of this room and the objects it holds; papers, documents, boxes, its stored with so much information. it reminded me of something abandoned, somewhere time had departed.

a coincidence that the clock-face is cloaked in shadow.

have recently been in sheffield with a dear friend, this was something i was working with before i left, a design of some sorts. i enjoy the colour scheme; brown and yellow is just swell

i have always liked the rust on the back of this sign

i felt a need to draw this morning, it was less about capturing and translating an image but more to feel the ink and paper, enjoying the simplicity of drawing.

i was awaiting food to be delivered and stopped my watch when it arrived, i liked the angles the halted hands produced

this ornament sits in the porch of miss harwood's house, i see it every time i walk in and out and have always liked, how its sits there watching, waiting and how it will never do anything else but sit in silence. im quite fond of it's little place in the corner of the window.
